It seems like everything revolves around money in our society. As a 23 (soon to be 24) year old student, it seems like everyone around me has figured it out and is earning enough to be independent, buy the things they want and take care of themselves.
However, as I dig deeper I learn that even the smartest people don’t actually have a clue of what to do with the money they earn or end up living paycheck to paycheck. I saw this a lot working as a bank teller at my previous job, money would come in on payday and it would all be gone by the next. There was no retention or creation of wealth for many middle class people and I wondered how they would survive an emergency or how they would pass wealth down to their children.
After quitting my job and starting Law School, I found myself in the same boat. Whatever money I had saved up went towards paying tuition and whatever little money I earn now is going towards the bills. Through all this I feel like I am starting from step 1- and I would like to share this journey and see how far I can get by educating myself and learning about the financial world (investing, bitcoin, forex) and seeing what kind of wealth I can create for myself and my family.
I will be sharing the tips/tricks I learn on my blog/instagram @1stoffinance
